Julie has been a proud member of Eastwood Golf Club since 2009. Joining as a novice golfer, Julie quickly embraced both the sport and the club community. With a background in co-running a successful concreting business alongside her husband, she brings a strong work ethic and team spirit to everything she does. Over the years, she has made significant contributions to Eastwood, serving five years on the Women’s Committee, two years as Women’s Captain, three years of Vice President on the Board and most recently her appointment as President of our wonderful club. Julie has formed lifelong friendships through the club and remains committed to supporting Eastwood’s continued growth and long-term success.

Taylor has been a proud member of Eastwood Golf Club since 2000. Throughout this time, he has immersed himself in all aspects of the Club’s golfing community – beginning with the Junior Golf Program and continuing through to his current place on the Men’s Pennant Team. A passionate and knowledgeable golfer, Taylor not only enjoys playing the game but also takes a keen interest in course design and in fostering membership growth and broader participation in golf. As a practicing Osteopath, he maintains a healthy work/life balance, allowing him to regularly play at Eastwood and actively support the staff and Board with Club initiatives and day-to-day activities.

Darryl has been a proud member of Eastwood Golf Club since 2008. After finishing his education, Darryl began his career with the State Bank of Victoria, which later merged with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. He retired after an impressive 40 years of service, spending the last 20 years as a Relationship Manager in Corporate Banking. In this role, he worked closely with a range of corporate clients, including several golf and sporting clubs, developing a deep understanding of their financial strength, stability, market position, and competitive landscape. Darryl has also been actively involved in the community, coaching junior football for four years and serving as both Treasurer and President of The Warriors Junior Football Club. Darryl is a passionate golfer and dedicated sports enthusiast.

David has been a proud member of Eastwood Golf Club since 2017. He values the club’s welcoming community and the beautiful setting of the course against the backdrop of the Dandenong Ranges. Throughout his career, he held senior management roles and successfully operated his own business, developing extensive experience in leadership, team management, and organisational improvement. David has also made significant contributions to community and professional organisations, including serving as President of the Victorian Chapter of both the Quality Society of Australasia and the Quality Auditor Group, as well as President of the Doveton Special Soccer School. Since retiring, he has enjoyed dedicating more time to his passions, including golf, travel, sport, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. David is passionate about helping Eastwood continue to foster a strong sense of community, connection, and belonging for all members.

Andrew has been a proud member of Eastwood Golf Club since 2017. Andrew has built a career in the warehousing and logistics industry, with a strong focus on Occupational Health and Safety. With over 15 years of OH&S experience, he brings a deep understanding of risk management, compliance, and workplace safety – skills that are highly transferable across industries and valuable in any leadership setting. His enthusiasm for the game and commitment to the club led to his appointment to the Board in 2023, where he is eager to contribute to Eastwood’s continued growth and success. Andrew combines his professional insight with a genuine passion for the club community.

Russell has been a proud member of Eastwood Golf Club for more than 26 years. He has been an active contributor to the club both on and off the course. Having first taken up golf at the age of eight in country Victoria, his passion for the game has remained a constant throughout his life. Professionally, Russell holds qualifications in Electronics and Business Management and has built a successful career in Service Management roles within the corporate sector, working with large businesses across Australia. He also brings valuable experience as a small business owner and Company Director. Over the years, Russell has served a total of 10 years as a Director on the Eastwood Board and continues to play an important role within the club community as a member of the Green Elves volunteer group and Chairperson of Eastwood’s Senior Men’s Social Group. His extensive professional experience, combined with his long-standing dedication to Eastwood, make him a valued contributor to the club’s ongoing success.

Jake Solomon was appointed General Manager of Eastwood Golf Club in 2022. A golf enthusiast from a family of golfers, Jake’s passion for the sport began in his early teens and has grown into a career that combines both his love of the game and his professional expertise. Jake brings a strong financial background to the role, having worked in senior accounting positions within the business sector before transitioning into the golf industry. He has held senior management roles at respected clubs including Cranbourne, Woodlands, and Commonwealth, where he developed a deep understanding of both the operational and cultural aspects of golf club management. With a clear vision for Eastwood’s future, Jake works closely with a trusted and capable Board of Directors to deliver ongoing improvements, strengthen the club’s foundations, and enhance the overall member experience. His leadership reflects a strong commitment to innovation, community, and long-term sustainability.
